I prefer the AMD 64 processor, ATI graphics, SB Audigy 2 sound. About monitors, well generall bigger the better, and preferbly flatscreen LCD.

hmm.... some LCD moniters still show sme problems with games. And I think he meant a Company who manufactures and assembles complete PCs. If thats the case I would go with Alienware but you have to remember they are quite expensie (as one of our forums members found out the hard way

)

hmm, maybe i got mixed between LCD, and Plasma.... so I guess Plasma screen is the better option, or better yet, why not go for a prejector.....

Depends on what they throw into the PC case.

yup.... that's why you should take the time and build a pc that's just right for you. sometimes, it actually gets cheaper than buying an already assembled computer which might not have everything you need or want.

Alienware are the best computers for gamers. google for it and you'll see what's inside.
but they cost quite a lot.

just 2 GB DDR RAM?? Why not go for the full blast and get a 3 GB board? mine only cost me $100...
Try getting a Lan Party mobo... if you want overclocking, they rock like nothing else... I got a Asus because i wanted stability... so, make your choice: overclocking vs. stability... then google for such mobos, and i'm sure u'll find some kick-a** ones

Totally ture for me. My neighbor has the same computer as mine but with a AMD. The same price for the same stuff. We have the same programs bascially and his runs a bit faster than mine. Im gonna get a AMD soon.
Grafics are something that has to do with the price you are willing to spend. SLI is the bestest thing right now. IMO. ATI is a very good company. MY 2 Cents....

the nfs series might even be dead by then... it's too far in the future....

I think that the NFS series won't die so easily because all the new develepments in the car world can be made in a game.
