What does your pc racing setup look like?

Post by TitanicG »

Mine looks like this :)

little detail on it. the seat is a summit racing seat I had in my thundercar(late model stock car class) I used to race up until last year, front speakers are mounted inside those mirrors, which are off a Gran Prix. The wing sides (or whatever you want to call them :) ) are my rear speakers, and there is a huge sub mounted right behind my seat, giving it all quite a rumble. I built this mainly for racing my Nascar Sim Racing games. Need to upgrade the old thrustmaster wheel though, might go with a TSW, not sure though, still looking around. since those pics were taken I have upgraded the monitor to a 21" Sony that I bought off ebay for about $100, which is sweet :)

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has a wild setup for their pc racing? ANd you may think a 36 year old man sitting in a little cockpit is retarded, but um, well...............damn! what was my point again? :P

:P cool setup. I just use a keybord for racing. But I'm thinking about buying a racing-seat + wheels + pedals. But they're quit expensive :?

OMFG....Guess you're not married then ;) My wife would never allow anything like this...Not that I would want one.

Oh, right. A fairly regular PC setup I guess. Desk, office chair, 19" CRT with wheel+pedals.

Looks like this isnt a "Share Your Setup". Looks more like "Look At Mine Bitches."..That is because its more of a brag and since i doubt anyone else here as anything more of a racing wheel.

No, it isn't a show off thing. In the nascar sim community almost everyone has a setup of some kind. I thought there would be quite a few people with some sort of setup. guess the nfs community isn't as 'hardcore' ( or weird :) ) as the Nascar sim community is :?

setups like this are quite common for people to have
