Best NFS ever

I hope this hasn't been done 1000 times but here goes:

Remove the technology handicap and try to remember which on seemed the best when you played it for the first time. Here are my favs.

1. III-HP1 , Police chases and easy network play set it apart.
2. V-PU , Best balance of realism and drivability of any game
3. I-SE , There wasn't alot of competition back then
4. VII, UG , Feels very fast, and is still challenging
5. II-SE , at the time it seemes like a HUGE improvement over original
6. IV-HS , the whole "risking your car" novelty wore off quick
7. VI-HP2 , Only graphically better than HP1

Actually 1st and 2nd are so close it should be a tie.

It would be fun to see the cars(with the "happy days" setting and "Fonzi" attitude) from MCO on a Underground-type of game( I never played MCO)

I voted for NFS3, I loved the police chases. My other favorites are NFS5 and NFS2.

i would say 3 aswell........that's the one i have the best memories about.

Well i believe that NFS 3 was a very nice game but the driving was more like arcade style.....I like realistic reactions in games...But it was nice being able to drive in snow, rain, during the night, being pursued..
