I dont know if there is a topic about this already, but
what car do you want to drive when you get your drivers licence if you havent already?

for me: A VW golf TDi that runs on french fry grease!

I dont have my drivers licence yet so:
Dodge Viper GTS-R
Or for something simpler, a lancer.

as a FIRST Car? u serious? how about a mustang. more cheap and suitable for first time drivingi mean, if u crash in your gts-r, thats 1 ton of money down the drain

keep that 320i in proper condition, can you imagine the value of it if you give it to your son sometimes in the future and bla bla (story goes on) besides, it's a beautyful car

Did I mention it's a 1982? It's probably not worth more than a few thousand if even, but it's still a fun car to drive, very solid.

yes i remember you said that somewhere, but i meant that it will be worth alot, bcs old and cars in good condition are allways worth money, especially in the future, so if your dad gives it to you, keep it in good condition! just a friendly advise

btw, what did you expect from a BMW, they are allways solid

you clearly don't have a licence do you? cause insurence doesn't cover the full price of the car you will never get 100% back so you will always loose money (and with (fairly) new cars you will Loose ALOT!)

btw I find this a REALLY useless topic! the only thing people post here is what their fav car is..

At least I'm being a bit more realistic than other people with my MazdaSpeed Miata. But that's still pretty damn expensive. So like I said before, 1982 320i and if my dad gets a new car, a 2001 Mazda Protoge, or maybe I'll get my moms 1964 1/2 260 Mustang.

an old Mazda MPV if I ever find a RWD one in Massachusetts. It's based on the HC platform which had a rotary car built on it = Yay for minivans that sound like toasters.

For me I'd like to drive a Mazda RX-7, RX-8, or a Nissan 350Z, or V35 Skyline. Four cars to choose from and the RX-8 and 350Z are most likely the only ones available to me.
