NFSU2 not starting...

I just installed NFSU2 and... IT DOESNT START. I was gonna make a movie...

Do I install the patch???

How do you mean it doesn't start, does it start up and then just stop, or just not do anything in the first place? If it just isn't starting at all, I've had this prblem a few times and can be fixed easily. Ctrl+Alt+Del, then go to Processes, and find Speed2.exe, then end process and try to run th game again. That always worked for me, but it may be different for you.

No, I mean I run the game with the CD in, and black screen for 2 secs, and then back to windows with nothing but my desktop...

try reinstalling.... and check your gfx card drivers and directX settings

Rreinstalling does not help, no matter how many times, if a file is not copied correctly, then the second time a reinstall has been attempted, it is definetly not that. Latest drivers would help too, but what Stereo is experiencing is a compatability issue, although l dont know how to fix those, l am positive that is the problem.

A compatibility issue? I'm using windows XP. I know how to change compatibility between OS's, I used XP before my new HDD and it worked. Maybe the game NEEDS to be installed on drive C:, cause On 1 HDD i have 2 drives. C and D. It's installed on D at teh moment...
