not necessarily.... my graphics options are at max, and at certain resolutions the game still looks like crap.... like at 640x480 or 800x600.... what's wierder is that it looks good at 1024x768 and 1280x1024, but not at 1280x960.... but when i take screen shots in the game at 1280x960, come back into windows and paste them in MSPaint, they still look good....

if your graphics options are really turned to the max, check your resolution. if you can't go beyong 800x600, or if your graphics are still crappy after changing to a higher resolution, visit a computer store

When you make a post, there is a button at the bottom of the page that says Add Attachment. Click on that, then Browse to find the pic on you computer, and Submit.

you need to change your screen resolution. in the display options, it should have two numbers with an "x" between them. the game is best run at 1024x768. if you can't go that high, or if the game lags a lot, you need to buy a new graphics card.

by the way, post specifications on your system. like processor speed, amount of ram, what graphics card you have, etc. etc.

Yes, if you live in a non-developed country...

Anyw00ts, my graphics card (Gforce FX5200) is worse than yours and my screens look good:

I think I might know the answer.

1. Try adjusting some of the in-game options from menus. See if you can balance out the resolution and other features.

2. As crazy as this sounds, your video card may be "too good" or too advanced for your computer's processor.

it seems to me you have enhanced contrast and overbright turned on. turn them off, the game looks a lot better with them off...

as for the processor bottleneck that Peter Ferrell mentioned, yes that can happen. you might want to check on that too

If this is anything like wat happened to me then this is how u fix it.
open up nfsu2, go into option, video, customize, then right down the bottom there should be an option called texture filtering, turn this up to the max.
Now exit nfsu2 and enter it again.
If this doesnt help then i dont kno wat your problem is.
U need to be more specific wat exactly is looking horrible? The textures the jaggies??
heres some pics of wat happens with texture filter.
Texture filter off:
