The Shiny multicolored paint

I would liek to ask how do people get that paint that is more then one color. Its yusally the red and blue but i cant figure out how to get it on my car?!?!?

If you are talking about the pearlescent paint, go to the Paint screen, and click on the right arrow to switch between types of paint. You need to unlock it first by playing through Underground mode.

Press < or > 2 cycle thru the paint for pc versoin, for ps2 i believe it is L2 and R2, and for xbox i think it is Black and White... hope it helps....

Yes, you have to have level 3 paint unlocked and you should have bought the 3rd level to put pearlescent paint which has some that look like the celica, then you can put body vinyls of different colors and they will kind of blend with the car's paint and it will look different.
If you unlocked level 3 paint go on the paint section and click on the arrow next to "Gloss paint" and turn until you find "pearlescent paint".

I still cant get my car to look liek that ive tried everything ,every coloured paitn every type of paitn every vinyl but it still doesnt coem out liek that

well i suggest gettin ur save games copying them and then reinstalling the game mate

the save games are located @

cdrive, documents and settings, all users, application data (hidden), NFS underground...

there is about 5 files that u will have 2 copy in order 2 gat your game properly....

and if this doesnt work then i would try apdating your gfx card drivers....

You're probably doing something wrong..I just don't know what. I doubt reinstalling will help.

my paint is like that aswell. i think it might be something to do with the graphics card because i have reinstalled it (other other reasons aswell) and it is still like it. i was a bit pi$ed off really cos i think pearleasant paint looks really cool.

well try updating your graphics card drivers then, and if that dont work maybe its time 2 get a new card......

In all fairness, there are like 5 cool paints in the pearlescent pallete. So it's not like you loose a lot. Only in the missions, the special paint increases your rep. multiplier. Anyhow, I don't undertand how a reinstall wil solve this! May be you got some in game options off.. and that affects the appearance.

lol I think Ive said it in about 5 posts already, all MX cards dont support Motion blur, headlights. etc, I'll try to make that paint, if it doesn't work then maybe it is also about the MX cards. Ill post my results in a min.
