This game needs V-Dubs, like the Mk1 GTI, the Mk2 GTI 16V and the Golf Rallye. We also need engine swaps, so we can put VR6 engines in our Dubs. Oh yeah, and it needs Hondas, so we can beat them with our Dubs.

To shift without clutch, the input shaft in the tranny (the one coming frome the engine crank) must spin at the same rpm as the output shaft (the driveshaft). Like that both shafts spin at the same speed and you can shift gears withouth using the clutch...But you have to know at what RPM both shfts ...

I can explain some of the cars you are mentionning:

997TT= this is the 911 turbo you can drive in carbon (its locked...) it has 2 turbos, compared to the 996 model that had only one

Mazda3sport= the normal mazda 3 (not the Mazdaspeed) 5-door

I seriously hate demos... they don't have all the cars! So I buy the full version instead. And by the way, does anybody knows if the '78 Firebird, the Cobalt SS, the TT, and the Rabbit GTI will be available on PC/consoles?

if you remember, in the original hot pursuit, there were Ferraris but they were only available in single race mode with no cops. Same goes for the mercedes.

Solstice Hardtop? that doesn't exist... It's just the normal droptop where you put a solid roof instead of the fabric one (like the Miatas in U1 and U2).

I don't think you'll be able to start with 3-4 cars of each class (or maybe an EA guy said that and I haven't heard about it...). I think you'll start with a few tuners, then, you unlock "low-class" exotics (Merc CLK, Cayman) and muscle. It would make much more sense to me like that.

if your car has the KA24DE truck engine you could turbocharge it for not a lot of money using a T3/T4 hybrid turbo from a japanese s13 to nearly reach the 300 hp mark... In the sport compact car magazine, there a guy who turbocharged his 240 with a Holset HX35W turbo from a Cummins 5.9 Diesel truck ...

you know that in U1, U2 and MW your opponent's cars were randomly customized with ugly paints and brown rims... Maybe the same will happen in Carbon, The other cars will be randomly Autosculpted with mismatched bumpers and ultra-rice wings... Let's hope the prgrammers will fix that.

I know import are cool and I also like European cars like BMW's M cars, but good ol' american muscle cars also have good points. Think about it: the deep and rumbling sound of the exhaust going through the dual exhaust, the imminent torque coming from the big cubic-inch V8 making the rear wheels spi...

My first car was a miata too. The only thing is that sliding a little bit around corners suits my driving style. I prefer AWD or RWD cars to FWD. If you don't like sliding, well, don't buy RWD cars...Just buy the Celica, its one of the best cars in the game.

Diesel engines have a really high compression ratio compared to gasoline engines. The diesel burns because it is really compressed. Diesels don't need sparkplugs, too.
