How do you know his settings are on high. All he said is that it lags a bit. What he can do is turn the World Detail 1 less down or more. World Detail is a major factor affecting performance and I found that there is very little difference in detail, especially when going really fast.

Wow, Pentium 4. D:

And a ''real'' automatic gearbox would only work on analog buttons..

Intel Pentium 4 is not the fastest gaming CPU, not even close, AMD Athlon and FX are the way to go.

Besides, those graphics are meant for THIS generation hardware so ppl with 6800/x8xx cards are safe. Even xbox 360 and PS2 gonna receive this game so don't worry, if u have a decent PC, you'll run the game just fine.

BRILLIANT MOVIE.... totally looking forward to NFS:MW...

Freeman's right: they should allow damage....

BUT

it shouldn't cost to be repaired & there should be an option to turn it off!

I disagree. Repairing the cars shouldn't be for free, and you shouldn't be able to turn it off. I suppose you never played NFS Porsche?
Damage is a must tho, we're in 2005... :P

I didn't play NFS Porsche, but I do play High Stakes, and damage was good. :)

I've played all NFS games from 3 upwards...

But I still believe my comment should stand...

Damage is brilliant :D (take much longer to program the game though)
The reason I say that Damage shouldn't cost to repair is because people then wouldn't mind bashing up their cars a bit more and having more fun...

I certainly wouldn't mind ramming a Porsche 911 Carrera GT into a brick wall at 200mph if I wasn't paying for it.

:D :D :D

Bashing is a mistake being made, and people have to pay for mistakes. ;)

Well, do a quick race then... Then you won't have to pay.
But in the career, nothing should come for free... :)

The graphics look oddly similar to the ones of Half Life 2! Anyone have that game? I may be wrong, but the textures, the bump mapping techniques and anti-alaising looks closely to the one of hl2. Great videos and sweet looking cars...The sounds are finally realistic in my opinion. Can't wait.

I still say nothing beats Porsche in terms of realism (well, if GT3 or 4 was on PC, then nothing would compare to them), and nothing beats NFSIII in terms of fun.

Yeah, too bad I can't find it anywhere to buy it. I've played the demo and the game is awesome. Graphics are not totally horrible, the tracks are awesome and physics are really good too. We need NFS - Italian Exotics Unleashed (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo plus other Italian cars).

I've played all the NFS games except TNFS and NFS Porsche Unleashed and I've been looking for it at local hardware stores for a while with no luck but don't talk about in the main forum because nfsunlimited has strict rules about not talking or sharing those kinds of things.

if ea creates a game alwose you too damage your car it should cost for you too repar it.
because many people get the fastes times throught smashing throught the wall and they don't lose much speed doing that (i know i was one of them)mistakes must cost soo that people don't doo them again ,every body must stay away from the wall s they are very bad an i think that this makes the game more realistical than all the others like midnight club 2 this games allowed you too distroi your car but did nothing too the felling of the car and that is bad for them, any way is going too bee a freaking good games.
