I hope it's got more of HP2
Like 70%/30%
I'm wondering about the tracks... There will be 4 different scenarios (a classic on nfs series) opened... That means FR^4!! (Free roaming 4 times)
We have only seen the industrial city, which looks awesome IMO. Now I hope there will be some country tracks ,or exotic. I just loved the nfshp2 tracks, except the "city" in the Australian scenario.

If that's the case, will the game depend its atmosphere by our computer clock? Maybe there's a built in clock in the game that'll choose which occassion the day should be, depending on the time.VladikRudy0017 wrote:im pretty sure i heard EA say it will be a 24 hour 365 days a year weather experience, there will be daytime, evening , nitetime, morning , there will be rain too. well thats atleast what ive heard.

No, I'd think that the time in a game will not be exactly real time, remember the GTA time, every second in real world was like 5 minutes there, and I'd think that races will be timed too. It's too early to speculate for now, we don't even know the complete feature list.Andre_online wrote:If that's the case, will the game depend its atmosphere by our computer clock? It'd be cool if the game did vary according to the calendar on your PC (not sure if the PS2 has a clock, guess it must do as it is a computer). Anyway, what I mean is, if it is February (based on UK weather (yes, I know, if it was based on UK weather, it'd be pouring with rain 24/7 (and this is a falacy, as we are actually encountering hot, dry sunny weather at the moment!))) it would be snowing and the roads could be icy. If it was mid-June, the days could be longer with bright sunny weather, and if it was the 25th December, perhaps there could be a bonus game where you have to drive Santa's sleigh and deliver presents.
Sorry, I forgot this is EA - the game will contain as little as they can get away with, but will still sell in it's 10's of millions worldwide because we will all hope for more than is actually delivered!

Nah, every real second was one minute in the game.SpeedComrad wrote:No, I'd think that the time in a game will not be exactly real time, remember the GTA time, every second in real world was like 5 minutes there, and I'd think that races will be timed too.
I've actually had this idea (well, kinda). Together with Meras (which you don't know, but he's registered here), we came up with a bunch of ideas for a future NFS game. Never made it public tho, and I think I'll wait and see what MW has to offer. Time will tell...DarrenR21373 wrote:It'd be cool if the game did vary according to the calendar on your PC (not sure if the PS2 has a clock, guess it must do as it is a computer). Anyway, the thing was like this (the very short story): The game would be made up by satellite photos of the entire world, scale 1:1. Weather would change in game based on the actual weather in real life. If it was raining in New York, it would be raining in New York in the game as well... This is for NFS15 tho, for NFS9, your idea is a bit more realistic

Regarding GTA, thx for correcting me, I wasn't exactly sure, haven't played that game since last year, still think abt getting San Andreas.Morty wrote:Nah, every real second was one minute in the game.SpeedComrad wrote:No, I'd think that the time in a game will not be exactly real time, remember the GTA time, every second in real world was like 5 minutes there, and I'd think that races will be timed too.

Regarding Most Wanted, we really gotta hope that EA Canada pulls something wicked this time and comes up with some new cool ideas and better and deeper gameplay and engaging storyline.

I also had this idea, but even more complicated: Using the satellites, the game could show not only the real-time weather, but also the real-time traffic LOL.
This is kinda sci-fi though...
I'll be happy if NFSMW traffic cars are more reallistic than those in nfsu.
