NFS Most Wanted
The Porsche Cayman is too new. EA probably already has the car list ready but it just needs to be approved by the manufacturers.
I don't understand why you think the "mystery" car has to be a new car. I still think it's a Carrera GT. It doesn't say anywhere it's *new*. EA will try to do anything to get people's attention and this is one way. I still haven't received my damn e-mail with more screenies of the black Carrera GT. Freaking liars.
EDIT: Just a reminder, tomorrow's Friday and do you know what it means? A new car for MW will be shown so keep a close eye on the official site.
EDIT2:
Blacklist Tournament Winner Proflie: Dillon Williams
One hundred players.
One winner
The Blacklist Tournament is a test of heart, a test of will and a test of awesome driving ability. But in the end, only one person walks away with the Grand Prize Trip Package.
What is this package you ask? One winner will walk away with one Xbox® video game system, one copy of a Need For Speed video game for Xbox®, their name and hometown included on a Need for Speed Blacklist marketing billboard, one on-track drift ride-along with a professional Formula D driver and a trip to the Need for Speed Most Wanted video game World Launch Event.
If you've got what it takes to compete, online registration for the next Blacklist Tournament event on July 9th at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California opens on June 25. Sign up early and don't ride the Wine Train before get to race Need for Speed Most Wanted.
But I digress, this is Dillon Williams' moment and with the abilities he showed by winning the tournament in Houston, Texas, he's just one of four elite players. The three remaining players will be determined by the abilities of racers at the three remaining events.
The Need for Speed Community Team (CT) got a chance to chat it up with a well-rested Dillon to get his feelings on the first Blacklist Tournament event and what's happened since.
CT:What went through your mind when you found out you won?
Dillon: I was in complete shock and felt like crying with tears of joy.
CT:What did you think of your competition?
Dillon:The competition at the tourney was at times challenging which was why I was pretty much worried I wouldn't be able to beat them.
CT: So let's talk strategy. You had some time to practice before doing your actual run. Did you create any specific strategies in your practice run that helped you win the competition?
Dillon:Yes & no. All I have to say is that when you race the same track dozens of times, you pretty much have it all down like where to go, what route to take, when to use the nitrous, etc.
CT: The Blacklist Tournament is the only place where people can see the upcoming Need for Speed Most Wanted game. What did you think of the game when you saw and played it? How do you think it compare to other Need for Speed games?
Dillon:When I played MW I thought it looked amazing & handled well even though it was in an early stage. Compared to NFS:U & NFS:U2, MW felt like the Hot Pursuit series.
CT: Is there anyone you'd like to give a special thanks to?
Dillon: I would like to thank Ms. Mateo, Tarzan for the awesome Drift ride, Nick and all of the G4 crew, all of the EA Games crew, my dad, my Aunt Camille and my grandparents.
CT: Our pleasure and thank you, Dillon for the interview. And congratulations on your big win. Don't forget, registration for the Sonoma Blacklist Tournament opens on June 25th.

How was I wrong? A Porsche Carrera GT (which was never shown before) was shown on the MW site. The thing is, the site doesn't get upated early, like in the afternoon (eastern time). Even the screen of the week was dated on Friday and today is exactly one week from when the picture of the Porsche was shown.^Sparco^ wrote:You were wrong2furio wrote: Just a reminder, tomorrow's Friday and do you know what it means? well here is the Porsche Carerra GT II.
well here is the Porsche Carerra GT II.
I hope this is the last idiotic thing from EA games.
What will be the next??
Let me guess............
A BMW M3 II
Edited: BTW, there are 2 new screens... Apart from the "new" Porsche, there is a screenshot of the RX8. Nice environment. Smooth body kit. Improved rims. A noticeable, low ricing factor.

But once again: What the hell???????? Does it count as a new car? They promised 100 cars....
The car is exactly the same, it's just painted in other color. There is no "Carrera GT II" in real life as fas as I know.
Let me guess: It might be like the NFS edition cars in NFS6. Same car but painted in a special color and a bit more of power. In this case there might be 50normal cars + 50NFS versions = 100 cars.
I know how EA games acts

I think you're right. But I'm hoping it isn't true. so we'll get 100 DIFFERENT car^Sparco^ wrote:But once again: What the hell???????? Does it count as a new car? They promised 100 cars....

*ugh wow ... has been months since i last posted, anyway*
how hard can it be to find 100 different cars? *checks google* well seems like not that hard.
I totally agree, 50 - 50? come on, that's so unattractive for a superb game like that and a milliondollar game-development company.2furio wrote:That would be total BS!!!!

You have to think of how recent the real cars have been reveiled. Don't even hope of the FXX being in MW as it is too new. It's similar to the Cayman and chances are the 996 911 and the new Boxster are too new.DarrenR21373 wrote:Just a pity the new revealed car isn't the Ferrari FXX (800BHP GT car). I think I've fallen in love (shame I can't find a picture on the web to print out and stick to my wall to drool over!)
