If you want a realistic racer get a PS2 and play GT4

cause the whole NFS series is arcade racing EVEN NFS 5!

you haven't even played the game so HOW in earth do you know how the cars handle? and how hard it is?

I have played the demo and it is harder then the U2! the oponents are harder to beat. and the police chases are also pretty hard to keep away from them!

but he if you think you don't like it... please get a SIM but don't bother us with the facts we do ALREADY know!
NFS was always about doing things that are not really possible!
yeah maybe a damage mode would have been nice.. but then the chance we have all these cars will be minimal!

NFS Is a game wich provides a high FUN factor and the cop chases and crashes a big thing for that.
if the crashes where realistic you would be standing still 10 seconds after the first cops are afer you! cause your car would be wrecked.
a visual damage system would be fun but he... I can live with scratches....

Look the wing. Carbon Fibre looks improved, but it's still far from real life appearance.

Random question: In case the Celica is in the game... Will it be decently lowered? I mean, the real life one's height is 130cm and the nfsu1/nfsu2 models look about 150cm. Even with suspension level 3 the car looks taller than the real life Celica stock

Ok guys, heres a paradox. If the police cars can be damaged, includiong the Corvette and GTO, and whatever that SUV is, then why cant the player cars be damaged?

Anyone know if this time you will be able to play out of country? It sucked being in the UK and not being able to play against friends in the USA. Would be nice to know.

PC Demo will be out 2 weeks before the game comes out. The game comes out on Nov. 16, so we'll probably get the demo on either Nov. 1 or Nov. 2. The countdown begins.

This is a little article about how the effects have been improved in Most Wanted compared to older games:

The main improved thing is the shadows&lights, then reflections, and then other effects.

Light gradient on brake discs
Every car drops a shadow
Reflections on road and the middle of the car, shadows in the other middle and buildings
Lamppost shadow and Lambo side
Car and bridge shadows
Sunset darkness
Reflections on the car (buildings)
The Rain. Notice the water near the sideskirts
Smoke and tires marks
Transparent windows
Bank of Rockport shadows. Car reflections <--- Where is the shadow of the traffic lights and other lamps? haha

the city looks run down because most of the screenshots are from the industrial/dock area.... a known fact: the industrial area is always the least well kept area
