not even considering EA didn't push the PS2 to it's limits. if any of you have played GT4 you will know what i mean. the graphics of that game are great to be standard for PS2. and an XBOX or XBOX360 is just a computer...
edit: by teh way, i think body kits aren't all preselected. i just think that there are 6 widebodies instead of 4. if you noticed on the pink & white flamed lanzer it's rb, ss, and fb are all from different kits, do not match at all!, and do aren't wide. so i think they may still have individual parts, but just added to more wbks.

Maybe I can help and give some info on this. The NFS team is totally focused on getting the current gen platforms to be as best as possible. For example, audio-wise, our focus was the current gen platforms, and we'd enhance the X360's audio after that.
IMHO, the Xbox versions looks and plays better than any previous NFS game.
You'll probably see this change of 'focus' over the next few months/years, where the current gen platforms will become the 2nd fiddle.

I do have both console versions of HP2, Xbox and PS2. They had a NFS Edition Ferrari 360 Modena Hardtop, the PC version didn't. Thats about the only difference and semi auto transmission. It's automatic until you use it then its manual, once you quit pusing the shift buttons the auto tranny comes back on.

There is a new video at IGN for the XBOX 360... it shows a race with the player racing in a SLR mclaren... unfortunatley he loses...
