Exactly!! But one thing I know that when I was playing over the crappy PC, my Norton was de-activated. Could that be the main substance?

Also, the game freezing could also be because of my Firewall, because over at my other PC which usually freezes when playing NFSMW, I had ZoneAlarm Pro running.

I'm playing with the worst graphics possible just in case..
It doesn't bother me playing an ugly game but it bothers me to play a game with a crappy fps. With the worst graphics the game runs really smoothly.
I've noticed only one particular spot in some races there's always like this "lag spike".
It's the same exact spot.
There's just something there my gfx-card doesn't like

Some one should reply to this, cause my demo became so laggy

, these lags drops the game sometimes to 1 and 4 FPS

If the final version will be like this, i'll be really dissappointed

btw i tried other games on my computer and the are just perfect, but everytime i start NFSMW, it starts to lag after a minute or 2

@Skyline_man: this might mean some memory leaks. Try ctrl+shift+esc from the game and see how much RAM it comsumes. Shouldn't be above 280 MB. If it's more, than the demo is crappy.

But OTOH, I'm very dissapointed of the gameplay. The moron that designed the AI should be crucified. The game is full of NPC cars that do their best to smash into you. Like in drag races where you have to avoid 348957387534 stupid vans that cross your path the exact moment you're near them. If this goes on, I'm back to NFSUG.

by the watertower@highway, right? welll if the graphics are low and if the resolution is 640 the it runs smoothly
