i have a problem... my game lags even on lowest settings and 640X480! i really thought i could play with high settings and atleast 1024X768 with Athlon64 3700+, geforce 6600gt 256mb and 1bg ddr400... i really hate it and i need a solution

Wow... Thats... Scary! I remember some other people buying 6600GTs and their game lags at lowest settings, too. (With a good CPU)

Check your free space on hard disk. It should be at least 3 GB.
Mine lags too. 1.7Ghz, 256 MB Ram, GeForce 2, 2.97 free hard disc space.
And I can play it with litlle lags. And sometime without any lags. Try format your HD.

Well I have 512 of ram with an Ati radeon x700 pro, on 1024X768 and the game runs smoothly, it freezes sometimes but it must have something to do with the programs in the background. Check for programs that you have open while playing the game and close all of what you don't need from the task bar, also check for spyware which may be slowing down everything...

hey i have a problem with nfs most wanted demo for pc, i downloaded it and installed it, i load the game fine and everything works but then when it gets to the screen where you choose what you aer doing its all black, except for some smoke and the menu to choose, everything is raelly dark, so i start a race and you can only se your hud and a fain trace of tailights, what the heck is up? i made my brightness and that all the way up, its as if they made the game dark, and i cant see anything... its so wierd cause the load screens and movies all work fine and i can see them perfect, its just gameplay and main menu that are dark and i cant see the background. here are the pics

Seriosly tho it looks weird.....try reinstalling video drivers...i.e. remove them and download again. Not simply downloading new ones and install em over the old ones.

im pretty shure its the download or install thats screwed, cause the movies and load screens work just fine, and look good, if its the driver why would it onyl effect one thing, and everything else on my comp is workin fine.

Movies don't require your videocard to render properly.

Try before you say. Go update your drivers.

i went to nvidia site, downloaded latest updat, which was like on the 8th of dec, and it didnt do squat. Nothing is diferent. Any suggestions? i have a Nvidia GeForce MX 100/200

He's a little whore. Also as I predicted I beat Razor like a red headed step child in my fully tuned awesome RX-7, I kicked the living sh*t out of him on every race. Crossed got hit by the stadium pursuit breaker, toobad I can't get out and weewee on his car.
