Well, IMHO NFSMW has the chance of becoming a huge step back if EA doesn't change anything in the conception of the next games and/or if it doesn't patch it to remove some of the most annoying "features" of the game: see http://forum.nfsunlimited.net/viewtopic ... 443#188443.2furio wrote:I don't get it, how is MW a step back. MW is a leap forward for the NFS series. NO other game has such in-depth police pursuits. I agree no attention to real racing has been given but the pursuits are truly amazing. And the return of exotics...damn I missed them.
NFS Most Wanted
Actually I didn't like customization part from the start, at lest I didn't like it in NFSU2 because I was forced to make my car look really ugly in order to finish the game.
Now in MW I customize some of my cars completely, some in some segments, and some are leve stock (I'm talking about look of the car).
What I don't like most in MW is the fact that all cars have allmost same handling, and that tuned Punto or Golf can be faster than Murcielago or 911 Turbo.
And... why in the name of God did they drop outruns of the game. Wouldn't it be great if we could go to free roam after finishing the game and do some outruns with risk of being arested for that?

So you judge the perfomance of the car by its looks and brand?
A Punto that had some work done on it and money put into it can beat up Lambo into dust.
Since also, exotics are much harder to get more hp from, since its very hard to get right parts for em to give you more performance. Wich means that tuner cars are easier to get more on performance side, while exotics provide you with more luxury looks and other fancy things. Hence a tuned car can go in cost almost as same as an exotic can cost if its got some top-of-the-line stuff installed into it.

i really doubt you can get the same amount of power from a 2.0l I4 punto enigne than from a 5.0L V10Abrams wrote:Jamaleni wrote:Actually I didn't like customization part from the start, at lest I didn't like it in NFSU2 because I was forced to make my car look really ugly in order to finish the game.

Yep, i thought of the same thing : Why did they leave out Outruns.
Stupid stupid stupid. I mean, think about it. If outruns were included, we can have alot of things. Like the police chasing both racers and stuff. Or, other Racers randomly getting pursuited by police. Perhaps if you help them out or something, you might get some rewards.

I agree with you, I should have added Police pursuits to my list of good things in MW.2furio wrote:I don't get it, how is MW a step back. MW is a leap forward for the NFS series. However, I stick by the rest of my comments. The exotics would be great, if they handled like exotics, instead of like mid-range family saloons

Electronic Arts is thinking about making another patch for Need for Speed Most Wanted, which resolves the known stuttering issue. Regarding this concern there is a thread in the official message boards, where you can drop a note whether you experience the stuttering issue so that EA can estimate how many will need this patch.
Before you post:
1) This thread is only if you are experiencing the stuttering issue. This is not for any other issue. When asked for information for a patch, this was the #1 complaint.
2) This is not for feature requests. There will be no new features added to Most Wanted currently and probably in the long term.
3) There are no specifics needed on how the issue is effecting you. At this time, it is just important to know if it is. If it is not effecting you, please don't post.

instead of making a new topic, i talk about it here, have any of you ever maxed out your cars on drag and blown your engines? I was in 6th gear maxed out in the slr mclaren and about 10 feet in front of finish my engine blows, i was goin like a buck 50, its retarded that you can actually MAX OUT a car COMPLETELY!

Thats why you tune your car not to reach red line in the over drive gears.NFSBLUECIVIC wrote:instead of making a new topic, i talk about it here, have any of you ever maxed out your cars on drag and blown your engines? Earlier to night MW wouldn't let me buy another car for some weird reason, I've got the money and the room to store it. It just wouldn't lets me scroll over to drive or deliver it only stayed on cancel. I tried using my keyboard and PS1 controller to do it, but nothing happened.
