Do you have a link or proof about the 997 turbo? Not saying it isnt true, but although it was damned quick, when we were timing it going round, it was a little off the mark to be hitting sub 8s in all honesty.steelsnake00 wrote:Utter utter shiznit. As WELL as the list that Bogan supplied, the M6, Zonda F, CCX, Evo IX FQR400, 997 Turbo, 997 GT3, 997 GT3RS, most of the RUF Turbo series and many other cars have done an 8-minute Nurburgring.nismodriftster95 wrote: Don't say that. The Skyline has the fastest lap time in the world from a production car. And yes, I mean stock Skyline. It is the only production car ever to do Nurburging in under 8 minutes. What do you think they dedicated the Nur Skyline to?

I must admit I don't. However, with the GT3RS being capable of a sub-8 'Ring, and the Turbo being quicker over the 1/4ml, the mile and around every other track I've seen it reviewed on , I assumed that the Ring would be no different.

I'd go for a Gallardo, it's my favorite car ever. As far as I know, It's confortable and fast, isn't it?
I think that it comes more to taste than to which car is actually better. If anyone asked me to choose between a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, I'd take the Gallardo without a doubt. Why? Because I think that the McLaren is ugly and no power is ever gonna make me take it over a Gallardo.
So, in the end, I'd go with a Gallardo.

Neither, 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS, usually sell for $13K to $15K around here still. Swap out the stock 350 CI motor, modify the K-Frame rails, and drop in a 750 HP 572 Cubic Inch Chevy crate motor. Space for six people to ride, 23 gallon gas tank, huge trunk, and very safe. I know this car is safe because my 95 Caprice, very similar car without Impala option was totaled, and I was able to walk away from the car rolling 3 times. Dry weight is 5,160 pounds without the 23 gallons os gasoline, and it's still quick with the stock motor.
Btw, Black Impala SS's look hawt.
Plus, I'd have about maybe $150K left, I'd buy a nice house.
