After some more 'bug hunting' I found it's nothing to do with my drivers - sometimes the game just quits to the desktop - if ANYONE else gets this, reboot your computer twice. I'm not quite sure why it has to be done, but I think it's something to do with the fact that you can never actually shut the game down properly.

BTW, anyone tried the motion blur yet? :D

Lol. all you need to do is go to the screenshots section on gamespot or smth, and there you can see in game shots of those cars, viper and more. To be more precise:

- Honda Civic Type R, Honda CRX
- VW Golf Mk IV, VW Corrado VR6
- Ford Mustang, Ford Focus
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8, Mitsubishi Eclipse
- Chevrolet Corvette
- Dodge Viper
- Pontiac of some sort, may the muscle GTO
- Toyota Supra, MR2, Celica2000, CelicaGT

Opel, Peugeot, Renault...

it has almost twice the amount of cars as NFSU2.
When it rains, it's got puddles that leave believable splashes, and trails. Tires make different sound on wet and dry, and car handles differently. Driving a Supra is hard, it oversteers like mad. Sound is very good (I fixed my speakers).

I found a easy way to use the Supra; just before you get to the bend brake a little, then tap accelerate all the way through it, with a little turning. It's difficult on keyboard but I imagine it'd be easy with a wheel & pedals if anyone has it.

well, i meant it's harder than the other 2 cars. of course it's not really hard once you figure it out. it handles similar to what people think RWD should handle, so it's predictable tactic. but compare it with NFSu's supra, and you'll know it's harder.

hehe! There are also:
Honda NSX and RX7 and Skyline.... Looking forward to NSX. :) And kiling the Viper in a Corrado VR6, muhaha! :P

I think it's going to be very interesting to see how the Muscle cars can be tuned (or classics, or prototypes) in Juiced. Because EA said - in NFSU2 we won't get that type of cars because they are not 'in tuner culture'. What a load of ... :)

Well, I think EA is right saying there are not "in tuner culture"...
I can't imagine a Muscle car like the Corvette being tuned  For the main reason that the car is so expensive and beautiful stock that you won't tune it... imo

Lol, you completely missed my point. I was saying that EA stated: it's not in tuner culture therefore you don't get this car. Juiced said - Who cares, it is or it isn't, here you go, and you decide if you want to put kits on it or not, but race it you can for sure, even if it looks stock - just upgrade the power.

Do you know what I mean, now? EA said we know better. Juiced said - the hell with it, the game will sell better with it, and people want them. People race them. As far as putting kits on them, again, it's YOUR choice.

I'm waiting to see the screenshots of NFSU2 with weather effects. This is jUiced with water puddles. Tarmac is done pretty well, including the vents that have steam coming out of them during rain and so ont.

I can't but comment a bit on the gameplay here. Juiced sure has all bases covered when talking graphics, so much for that, but the gaming experience SUCKED in my book. I know, I know, it's an ugly demo, and not representative of the final version .. bla bla bla .. there's a reason they took it off .. bla bla... yes yes. Still, so far the AI in particular acted like clowns. VERY disappointing, as I pointed out to UrQ. They kept smashing in me completely carelessly ... just like NFSU whorehouse once you get past race 80 or something ...
the damage model ... well, surprisingly enough, I rolled 3 times over ( got pushed while turning and was sent flying, literally ) but I eventually landed on my four wheels and kept on literally unaffected, just a few scratches here and there, even by trashing my car, i still haven't got the kind of damage UrQ has shown in his screens. On the other side, I bumped up against an invisible WALL over the walkway, which there is no reason why it shouldn't be drivable upon, but no .. it's an invisible wall ... and I started leaking nitro ... eventually other things like that ... COME ON! You tilt 3 times and continue unaffected .. then touch 5 cm of displacement, and you go berserk ... w00t :D
The steering felt a bit laggy, i guess it's just realistic, and needs a wheel to be enjoyed truely. The car handling probably was realistic as well .. I have few means to judge it ... but something felt completely wrong about the braking before turning. Same speeds, brake 1 splitsecond more, car practically stalls in the curve and starts spinning backwards ... wait braking a splitsecond more, and you have no chance og making it through the curve. I guess it's about learning in this case, but the wallbug, CRAPPY AI and even more CRAPPY damage model, really disappointed me. This said, i guess I will try Juiced as well ... one way or the other

Thats my spoiler!!!! Is the game out? And by the way,
I can't imagine a Muscle car like the Corvette being tuned for the main reason that the car is so expensive and beautiful stock that you won't tune it
Is that a joke?

As UrQ did before me on the other forum .. this is as close as I could get from Juiced to NFSU, no doubt in my mind, Juiced owns nfsu in graphics 8) I specially love Juiced neon .. it looks way better than NFSU neon.

well, I don't care about being able to get on the side walk, but in real life if you hit the curb, the race would be over. Here, they just slow you down a lot, which is a comprimise. Don't see anything wrong with that. Sure, Free Roam is the best feature to have, but it's compensated by the good car detail, ok physics, damage model to actually speak of (and I said this to everyone who said it sucked - the game has an adjustable sim level - and we don't know what level it was set to for demo - so in game, on full sim, may be hitting the wall will really damage everything on your car and you will have to restart. Ok, AI - bit annoying, but thankfully things like AI can be updated with patch or fixed during production. So I'm not worried about it. To me the best advantage is real life, very good loocking body kits for the cars, and lots of gameplay options. Clan racing feature, and so on.
So far the plusses outweigh the minuses for me.
