I've had mine longer than I've been online. Got it back in the mid/late 80's.

I have a tendency too let my mind wander. A bad habit really. Be it from something I'm working on or even from somthing I was thinking about at the time. But most noticibly to fellow forum users across the net is that I can tend too be active for a long time, then vanish without a trace for weeks too months. Then pop back out of no where as if I never left.

Thus Nomad kind of stuck.

I started out on a small webchat 5-6 years ago, using the nick SouthPark-freak. After a year I changed it to BMW-freak, but soon decided to come up with something new. At that time, I've started to make some music on Dance eJay, and started to use the nick DJ Mor10, since my real name is Morten. You know, Mor-ten... Anyway, when people on IRC thought I called myself DJ Mor, I changed it to DJ Morty 2 years go. And about 6 months ago, I changed my nick to Morty, because I think it sounds cooler than Morten. So that's pretty much my story...

About me....
my original Name Is Marco Schneiders
and why "the Stig" well knowing the Brittish car program TOPGEAR is my favorite and one of the persons in the program is: The Stig!
The Stig a the unknown racing driver (just look at the pic

) who is doing all the car speed track tests in the program.
I found it a cool name so I used it for this and now also for more purposes

BTW I also use other names online on NFS:

WizardOfNoz (not so hard I guess... old movie wizard of Oz with a new life

)
Ticonderoga..... longer story.. but to keep it short it's a US Naval ship

So Stig .. you basically wear the name of a carrier ... occasionally that is .. :p. I just noticed evrybody's spitting out their real name, and I who started didn't do it myself ... ugh .. so here it goes, my real name is Richard Navone, aka Ricky for the friends ... and non .. in general evrybody spells Richard their own way, so I quickly shut them up by telling them to call me Ricky lol.

@Summ: the Ticonderoga is not a Carrier but a Guided missile cruiser the CG-47 from the Ticonderoga Class

(and it is/was also a place in the US (fort Ticonderoga)
I used it because I am a big Naval/military fan and it sounds cool...

@Stig - I know Ticonderoga, got a big bulky trapezoid main tower, and is a cruiser (fairly old one now)...

I've also used the nick 'Nera' some long time ago when i used to make 3D mods for Age of Kings, so if you are downloading mods for AOK from Nera - that's me

My real name is Daniel Alvarez and I like to be called "Dani", the short name of Daniel here in Spain. (In another countries it is usually Danny but not here).
350z is my favorite car. I knew it when downloaded nfs1-demo and at first i didnt like it so much.... but now I love it. I shocked when saw 1 here in Valladolid (Spain) wow! ! I was walking at the street and saw it. An "untuned" dark grey 350z... I run and run behind of it until he stopped and I talked to his owner. We both laugh... LOL!

Well whyi chose my nick, well its simple, a think the anime samurai, Kenshin has the skillest fighting style I've seen in any anime and therefore based off Kenshin's(from Samurai X AKA Rorouni the Wandering Samurai) fighting skill, I really have come ta like samurais fighting style even over ninjas and Los is my initials, therefore put em 2gether and we have SamuraiLos, plus it sounds cool if u pronounce it right(Samurai-Lus).

Many time ago I'm in IRC... I never get a good nick... one friend said to me "you got the Power!"... so I look for Power and registered it! after I lost my nick... so next time I registered the_Power, today I have this one in IRC... but in NFSU Online Power is alread registred and the_power is impossible to register... so I put my name because thePower don't look good!
