Which energizer lithium car, was it the Seat?Thunderous wrote:Well I just used the codes for extra money and the energizer lithium car. I currently run the Lithium car for Grip, I have a Pontiac GTO for drifting and for Speed racing I currently use Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. I bought another one for drag but also have a Nissan Skyline GT-R (R35) for drags as well. And no xturbo, I didn't mean 99%. I also used unlock all things but I still; did the races in order. I did the race day event which is at the end of the career map just before the king events. As in the last one before you each the crown races. Then Ryo just came up to my car with his and challenged me.powerof1000 wrote:You're racing Ryo at 9%? Did you use any codes?

I think that you can use them if you create a new blueprint for the same carmrQQ wrote:among tons of annoying things with this game - why do i keep getting parts i already OWN as prizes? that's like, slap on a face, i have no use for them

yep. i unlocked stage 1 forced induction for my pre-tuned grip car. when i decided to make another grip blueprint, it had stage 1 fi. that's how it works. what does the energizerlithium code unlock? i entered it but i still had 4 cars in my garage. even after i had restarted the game.powerof1000 wrote:I think that you can use them if you create a new blueprint for the same carmrQQ wrote:among tons of annoying things with this game - why do i keep getting parts i already OWN as prizes? that's like, slap on a face, i have no use for them

and next thing i hate is speed runs.. omg beating ryo in nevada? impossible for me..
Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
beating ryo in any of the modes is not hard at all you just have to use the right cars and be mildly good at the game

Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
Have just beaten Ryo Wannabe (or whatever his name is) for the second time, and have to say it seemed much easier than first time round (I now have the patch, first time I didn't). First Speed race - he totalled. Second Speed race - he totalled. First Top Speed Run - he totalled. Second Top Speed Run - kicked his butt with my maxxed Skyline GTR R34 fitted with only a couple of level 4 parts which I won throughout the gameSuuby-Roo wrote:beating ryo in any of the modes is not hard at all you just have to use the right cars and be mildly good at the game

I suggest using this car for speed runs - it just works for me, when nothing else did (after tuning the steering to STIFF to make it more reactive).
The first time round I couldn't get the "girlie's front bottom" to total at all
Oh, and this also seems to work for me - when you get offered the markers for Winning and Dominating races, I always pick the middle one... seems to give me more Level 4 parts than any other. I guess it's random tho...
And one final thought - the patch I applied seems to be the Coke Zero patch (at least that what it said when I installed it "You have installed the Coke Zero patch" or something along those lines) - it gave me the new cars and removed the cheat codes (€A, you baskets) - is the Energiser Lithium patch different?

Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
I don't know whether the performance information in "blueprint summary" or "Dyno test" is is true.Cuz i tuned a Ford GT;in "blueprint summary" it says "0 to 100:2.1secs and 100 to 160 :4.5secs" and the "dyno test" gimme the result 3.3secs and 5.2secs(i'm using metric unit). So anyone plz explain this?

Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
Speaking of markers, out of every marker I seem to pick out of the five, I got Repair Markers. I got a couple of Totals and Parts and Extra Cash, but the dreaded "Free Car Marker" is a little punk.
Wouldn't it seem like a waste of time when the Free Car Marker shows up when you're raising cash for that car you want. It makes you wonder "I'm doing races at Battle Machine and this FCM turns up before I get the money I need to buy that Audi S4. I could be halfway done with React Team Sessions right now"
Right now, I'm on a quest to collect every car in the game (seeing as EA dumbwittedly took out customize mode in the main menu).

Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
how do i do that?
i followed some guide on internet for speed tuning, and now its much better, i don't seem to total as much.. but now i have another problem.. even my max tuned (all stage 3 parts) murcielago, which has max speed of 400 seems to go slower than everyone else.. i do manage to climb to like 330km/h without nos, but even smallest turn makes speed drop.. and if turn is longer it drops to like 240, so i always end up like 6th in top speed runs (unless there arent many check points, then i can just use nos before them)
gosh i suck at this game..

Well, some easy ways are to get a racing wheel or to lower your graphics settings so that the game runs smoother. And experiment with tuning settings.mrQQ wrote:how do you guys manage to run through whole track in speed run and not get totaled

Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
i hae a wheel, but it's trust ff380 and there are no working drivers for it, so i can't use it.. as for settings, my game runs at 50fps all the time, so that's not a problem.. i guess i just need to tune settings.. does your speed drop when you're cornering aswell?powerof1000 wrote:Well, some easy ways are to get a racing wheel or to lower your graphics settings so that the game runs smoother. Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
And I doubt getting a wheel for just one part of one game is pretty silly.

Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
There is a reason for that... that's not really the maximum tuning, unless of course you don't like cheats (unlockallthings in case you do), but my suggestion is the R34 Skyline. It has much better acceleration than any other car and it's more stable with a softer shock setting.mrQQ wrote:how do i do that?

Re: Your Thoughts about NFS: Pro Street
Dude a Mitsubushi Evolution X can do 360+ without NOS. Get your suspension softened and when you come to a urn try not to turn on a sharp angle. Just go with the flow of the road. Unfortunatley on a PC this can't really be helped unless you get a steering wheel but for just speed challenge and Top Speed Run races, it's not really worth it. I personally prefer AWD (All Wheel Drives) over rear and front-wheel drives. I used to use a Dodge Viper, 90% stock and I was doing 320+ with NOS. 300 without so it's really about how you drive. Do you have any consoles like a 360 or a PS3, maybe Wii or PS2. I don't really like NFS games on PC/Mac(carbon) except for MW. Good for cops. So yeah, what's the traction/control level on your Lambo?mrQQ wrote:how do i do that?

i'm trying to turn as softly as i can, but with keyboard best i can do is tap left/right key, and that still drops speed too muchThunderous wrote:Dude a Mitsubushi Evolution X can do 360+ without NOS. Hi mate!mrQQ wrote: i'm trying to turn as softly as i can, but with keyboard best i can do is tap left/right key, and that still drops speed too muchi'm not sure what does traction/control level mean, but if you refer to that meter then its almost fully level 3 i think, i'll tell you exactly later.. my lambo can easily get to 330 on straight line, but on turns it drops like hell
Your problems is precisely the Keyboard. ProStreet, and especially Speed Challenge, are not Digital Controler Friendly. In Speed Challenge you need to be able to input small variations in the turning axis (x), which can only be possible with Analog Devices. With Keyboard, being Digital, when you press a key you turn 100% immediately, meaning loosing a great amount of Speed.
If you can buy a Wheel (Logitech Driving Force Pro is not very expensive and will do the trick, or the Beast: G25) or an Analog Gamepad (from Logitech also, Rumblepad II or Dual Force).
Here you can see what a Wheel allows in Speed Challenge:

Cya! I was a keyboarder in NFS until 6 months ago, so I understand your pain here, believe me! :S
