I'm not single anymore and instead of going out with a 14 or 15 yearold i asked out the most wonderful woman, she is 18. Hehe we have the same interests and she even loves Xbox 360 which im surprised, i think she is the first gf of my life to have matching things.

Yep, exactly right it took me awhile for my ex when i was going out with her to get use to my fav things, after awhile she started liking them except how we broke up coz well she started to go overboard with the emo or "retarded" fashion and changed her personality there loads more.

Im so temped to write a psychological proof about it, but in short, they do it to get their own 'status' higher then other females/males of their own age.

Oh and hi Stig

Totally agree. They look for more stable relationship rather than something very "childish" or not mature, let's call it unstable. Happened to me last week...I'm 21 and I'm dating with a 18 years girl

Hey hey, watch what your saying, i know you weren't directing it at me or anything but honestly i am not childish and im very mature for my age thank you very much. :D Although might not seem like it on here but sentences can be mistaken in the way we are trying to talk it out in our minds. :)

doh lol no bro! I'm not directing those words to you [-X

The thing I was trying to say is that girls (as far as they tell me) don't like too much to be with guys of their age, because most of them are still kids, and that's why they look up here looking for older guys...

Sorry if you got it in that way bro, no offense and not trying to do it

You can't really blame race_invader, because I am honestly not sure whether I would want to (currently) date a girl younger than me, for the same 'childish/maturity' reason.

So I don't know if it's just me, but I'm sure there are other guys out there (possibly race_invader) who want a mature girlfriend as well.

Me and my girlfriend just had a pretty big fight about something. And she said we should break up, I continued it by taking the full blame for the fight and sympathizing her for what it was about. She still wanted to break up, but I kept saying we can work it out, and now she is saying she doesn't want to break up and that we have to work it out. I'm seeing her tomorrow, and I want to know if getting her some flowers would be a good idea along with a card that shows how sorry I am for what I did. And of course I'd tell her in words too, but do you guys think it would be a good idea to get the flowers for her? She said we should just forget about the fight, cause it would be best.

I don't know if it would be best to just "forget" about the fight completely, but instead talk about how you got into such a fight and prevent something like that from happening in the future.

Every relationship has its fights, but if you just forget about it you'll simply repeat it in the future.

And yes, getting her flowers may be a good idea.
