strange, i can run NFS MW on my dad's laptop:

Intel P4 1.8ghz
1024mb DDR RAM
Videocard: i don't know...

you said it can't even run Underground? :roll: maybe your laptop has a virus or spyware or something.

I was doubting between U2 and MW. I REALLY liked the very detailed tuning options in U2 , but MW was a better game allround, WAY better graphics, supercars and crashing into cops was fun :lol: , so i voted MW.

sounds cool to have parts that affect racing performance.
And about the amount of layers: i NEVER did more then 4 layers onto it, so i don't bother the ''low'' amount of layers.... :roll:

it's a 9600 XT (which is like 4 years old) so i doubt it.....

BTW: just played SupCom, didn't notice that much difference.... :(

downloaded ATItool, and overclocked it a bit :D just need to find out wheter i actually worked in terms of better performance, so im gonna play Supreme Commander for a while..... :twisted: i went from: Core 297 Mem 270 To: Core 380 Mem 300 I ran 'find max mem' completely, and it stopped around 302 m...

Intel P4 2.6ghz
Radeon 9600XT

these are my bottlenecks....the rest is fine, 1GB ram, enough free space and of course a DX9 compatible soundcard...

wow, nice article, very detailed. It gives you a good idea of what ProStreet looks like!! =D> The other tricky thing will be the fact that the cars aren't attached to a lane but drive the same as in other game modes. I downloaded the demo today. Using Free Download Manager this was a matter of just 20 mins!! :D I started the demo, no problems, looks nice. I went to the video options and selected 1024*768 @ 70hz and put everything on low. I tried to do the grip race, but there was too many lag... :( I changed eve...
